Restore proper rear suspension movement and stability with the MOOG K500169 Rear Upper Suspension Ball Joint. Designed for select Ford Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, and Mercury Mountaineer applications, this direct-replacement ball joint installs in the rear upper position and fits either the driver or passenger side.
The K500169 features a press-in design engineered to provide application-specific fit and proper suspension articulation. MOOG uses precision tolerances and durable internal components to help reduce looseness and restore proper suspension performance when replacing a worn original ball joint.
A worn rear ball joint can contribute to suspension noise, looseness, alignment problems, uneven tire wear, and reduced handling stability.
Fits 2002-2005 Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer models and 2003-2005 Lincoln Aviator models equipped with applicable 16-inch or 17-inch wheel configurations. One ball joint is included; two are required to service both sides of the rear suspension.
