The Lisle 42810 Plastic Clip Removal Pliers are specialty automotive pliers designed for easy removal of plastic push-pin panel fasteners with center pins. The narrow needle-nose configuration reaches recessed fasteners that can be difficult to access with conventional trim-removal tools, including recessed pin locations found on some GM vehicles.

The specially shaped tips are designed to remove the center pin while minimizing damage to the pin or surrounding anchor, allowing many reusable fasteners to be removed cleanly. An integrated spring provides convenient one-handed operation, while the built-in cutter can remove the head of a stubborn fastener when normal extraction isn't practical.

The narrow tips also give the 42810 a useful secondary function as an automotive fuse-removal tool. Lisle specifies compatibility with ATO, Micro, Mini Blade, Maxi and Pal-style fuses.
